Verglichen mit der integrierten Version von iOS ist das natürlich ganz andere Liga. Hift extrem gegen Social Media Sucht und allgemeiner Handysucht. Support war super schnell im Fragen beantworten und hat Feedback zeitnah implementiert. Von meiner Seite aus: 10/10.

P.S. Gerne genauer darauf hinweisen, dass der Key auch magnetisch ist. Ich hab das erst nach einigen Tagen gemerkt, was sehr praktisch ist!

1 Choose Apps to Block

Open the LOKD app and choose which apps or websites you want to block. You can create multiple custom modes for different parts of your day like Work, Family Time, or Study. Each mode has its own set of blocked apps.

2 Tap the LOKD Key

Once you've selected a mode, tap your phone to the LOKD Key to activate it. Or, if you're not near your Key, tap and hold the Key button in the app to enable LOKD Mode from anywhere. As soon as you're locked, a timer starts - helping you track how long you stay focused.

3 Lock In

Now you can have your phone without distractions. The physical distance creates real friction that digital apps can't match. This separation ensures you stay committed to your focus session.

4 Intentional Unlock

When you're ready to reconnect, physically return to your LOKD Key and tap your phone to it. This intentional action ensures you're making a conscious choice to end your focus session. Emergency access is available through 5 emergency unlocks in the app if needed.

The LOKD app works seamlessly with your LOKD Key. Together, they create a distraction-free zone you can truly trust — and we’re constantly optimizing and adding new features to make it even better.

Tap the LOKD Key button inside the app to trigger a scan with your physical LOKD Key. This handshake locks your phone into focus mode — and only another scan with the Key can unlock it.

Choose exactly which apps and websites are blocked or allowed during a lock session. Keep essentials like maps, or notes while shutting out distractions.

Set automatic lock times that match your routine — study hours, work blocks, or bedtime. Stay consistent without even thinking about it.

Track your locked-in time day by day. View weekly and monthly averages to measure your progress and keep improving.

Hold down the LOKD button in the app for 3 seconds to start a lock session, even if your Key isn’t nearby. No matter where you are, the phone locks, but unlocking always requires scanning your physical LOKD Key.

Set up automatic focus sessions for specific times of day, like work hours or study time.

Prevent the LOKD app from being deleted during a session. When enabled, strict mode ensures there’s no escape hatch.

Use one LOKD Key with multiple phones, or connect one phone with multiple LOKD Keys. This flexibility makes it easy to keep a Key at home, at the office, or to share one with your household — all while staying locked in wherever you are.
