Better control over unreleased content
Reduce the risk of scripts, sets, product reveals, and sensitive on-set moments reaching social media before they are cleared for release.
Pouches · Productions
For film sets, product-launch shoots, and closed music-video productions. The Camera Pouch keeps crews reachable while physically blocking the front and rear cameras.
Why go phone-free
On a film set, product shoot, or closed music-video production, one unauthorized image can spoil a reveal, expose confidential material, or breach agreed privacy terms. LOKD Pouches provide a consistent phone policy without collecting personal devices or adding technical infrastructure.
What productions gain
Reduce the risk of scripts, sets, product reveals, and sensitive on-set moments reaching social media before they are cleared for release.
Performers can move through the set without crew phones being used to photograph or film them between takes.
The Camera Pouch physically blocks the front and rear cameras while calls, messages, and other phone functions remain available.
Crew members, extras, vendors, drivers, and visitors follow the same clearly communicated process, with approved exceptions defined in advance.
Where exposure happens
The risk rarely comes from deliberate misconduct alone. It also comes from a busy set, many personal devices, and an inconsistent policy that is difficult to enforce throughout the day.
How it runs on set
We define the pouch type, exceptions, and check-in process with the production team in advance. On-site support can be included where required.
The production communicates the phone policy before the shoot, including the pouch type, phone-free areas, and any approved exceptions.
Crew members, extras, vendors, and visitors place their phones in the assigned pouch at check-in. Each person keeps their own device with them.
Use the signal-blocking Standard Pouch where phone access must stop completely, or the Camera Pouch where communication remains necessary but photography and filming are not permitted.
The production defines who must retain immediate phone access and how other crew members can unlock their pouches in an emergency.
LOKD Openers are positioned at the designated check-out point so pouches can be unlocked as people leave the set.
Why not something else
Where productions use it
For closed sets, confidential scenes, and productions where unreleased content requires stricter phone access.
For photo and video productions involving unreleased products. The Camera Pouch allows communication while physically blocking both cameras.
For productions where the concept, styling, set design, or artist appearance must remain private until the official release.
Quick answers
Use the Camera Pouch when crew members need calls, messages, and other phone functions but must not take photos or videos. Use the signal-blocking Standard Pouch where phones must be inaccessible and disconnected until the pouch is unlocked.
The production defines any role-based or contractual exceptions in advance. Those exceptions are included in the check-in plan so staff can apply the policy consistently without deciding case by case at the entrance.
Yes. The pouches require no battery or software and are designed for repeated use. The appropriate quantity and replacement reserve can be planned for longer or multi-day productions.
Both options are available. Rental is usually best for individual productions, while studios and production companies with recurring shoots can purchase a reusable set with the opener configuration that fits their workflow.
The mechanism
The same process works for a single shoot day or a full production block. No software, and nothing extra to power or rig on set.
Everyone puts their own phone into a pouch.
One press on the stud locks the pouch. It stays with its owner, in hand, pocket or bag, and cannot be opened by hand.
Hold the pouch against a LOKD Opener and it releases in one motion.
Plan your production setup
Send us the production type, dates, crew and visitor count, location, and preferred pouch option. We will recommend a setup and provide pricing as soon as possible. On-site support is available for selected productions.
For visitors on production floors or in R&D facilities, the Camera Pouch keeps phone functions available while physically blocking the cameras.
